Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the CoLiSCo M18 project meeting in Berlin and Jena.

Day 1 — Berlin | HZB BESSY II
We started by welcoming our project partners from Poznan University of Technology (PUT), the ŁUKASIEWICZ Research Network – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals, and Friedrich Schiller University Jena at the BESSY II site of HZB in Berlin-Adlershof.
Visiting several beamlines during operation provided an excellent opportunity to exchange with beamline scientists, gain insights into ongoing experiments, and spark new ideas.

Day 2 — Jena | HIPOLE
The following day, we continued the meeting at HIPOLE in Jena, where we presented and discussed the project results achieved so far. Partners from Orion Engineered Carbons, CSIC (Spain), and INNOVATOR (Poland) joined the discussions, along with our project officer from Projektträger Jülich.
The day concluded with a lab tour at HIPOLE.

After the first 18 months of the project, many exciting results have already been achieved. We are looking forward to building on this progress and continuing our collaboration over the next 18 months.
