2025 was a year of strong growth and scientific momentum for HIPOLE Jena, and the institute further strengthened its position in polymer-based energy research.
In addition to infrastructure expansion and successful funding initiatives such as SANS-F research unit, HIPOLE Jena remained highly visible through international fairs and scientific events.
Looking ahead to 2026, new research infrastructure, strategic funding projects, and expanded international collaborations will further accelerate our development. As part of our five-year growth strategy toward 2028, aiming to further expand our professorships and strengthen our research capacity, HIPOLE Jena continues its path toward becoming a world-leading institute for polymers in energy applications.
