Our First Publication within the SANS-F Project

23.10.2025 1 min read

We are happy to announce our first paper within our project Fluorine-free polymer membranes for photoelectrolysis and redox flow batteries (SANS-F), which is funded by the Free State of Thuringia through resources from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).

Our PhD student Dzenna Zukova together with Dr. Martin Hager, Prof. Dr. Felix Schacher, Prof. Dr. Roel van de Krol, Prof. Dr. Ulrich S. Schubert and Dr. Marco Favaro published a comprehensive review on “Fluorine-Free Ion Exchange Membranes for (Photo)electrochemical Applications”.

We are proud of the entire team and look forward to many more exciting results emerging from this project!

We thank the Free State of Thuringia and European Social Fund Plus for supporting our research and look forward to continuing our work.
