Prof. Schubert receives the Hans and Marlies Zimmer International Scholar Award
We are very glad to announce that Prof. Dr Ulrich S. Schubert was awarded the prestigious Hans and Marlies Zimmer International Scholar Award at the University of Cincinnati on 1 July 2025.
With this award, the Department of Chemistry honours outstanding scientific achievements and special commitment to international academic exchange. The award emphasises Prof. Schubert’s many years of work at the interface of research, teaching and international cooperation.
During his stay, Prof Schubert gave a keynote speech and engaged in intensive dialogue with local students and researchers. These encounters opened up valuable perspectives for future joint projects. A particular highlight was the personal meeting with Hans Zimmer Jr., which demonstrated the international ties in science in an impressive way.
