HIPOLE Jena is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for the synthesis and processing of new polymer materials.
Gloveboxes
The material and battery research at HIPOLE Jena includes working with water and oxygen sensitive samples where handling in gloveboxes under inert conditions is required.
Miniature ballmill
For the research on polymer-based thin film batteries, small amounts of synthesized redox-active electrode materials need to be milled and homogenized as well as processed into small amounts of electrode paste using a miniature ballmill.
Dual centrifuge
For the research on new materials at HIPOLE Jena, temperature sensitive samples can be homogenized, mixed, milled and dispersed in closed containers as well as centrifuged from −20 to 40 °C using a dual centrifuge.
