Prof. Dr. Ivo Nischang has been honored with this award on July 27, 2024. This recognition acknowledges achievements in the field of Analytical Ultracentrifugation. In other words, it recognizes the study of macromolecular and colloidal systems as pursued by Professor Dr. Nischang and his team. Next to activities in the life sciences, the technology is also explored in characterization of polymers and colloids utilized in or used to construct energy storage systems. Contemporary examples deal with stationary energy storage systems such as redox-flow batteries.
