We are celebrating the groundbreaking for the new start-up center lab2fab. Lab2fab will strengthen our transfer activities with a strong focus on polymer research. It is a part of the Technology and Innovation Park Jena (TIP Jena) and it is located next to the buildings ZAF, CEEC Jena I, CEEC Jena II, and AWZ CEEC Jena on the Landgrafen Campus of the University of Jena.
With an investment volume of 21 million euros, lab2fab will create modern laboratories and office spaces on 4,700 square meters. These spaces are designed to turn visionary ideas into groundbreaking products. The lab2fab center aims to become a vibrant incubator for environmentally relevant innovations.
HIPOLE Jena plans to make lab2fab its new home and will rent two floors in this state-of-the-art facility. We are already in discussions with construction specialists to ensure that our requirements, such as advanced ventilation systems in the laboratories, are integrated into the design of the innovation center.
