We welcome you to our stand at Hannover Messe 2025

Hannover Messe 2025 has started and our team is excited to be part of it! As HIPOLE Jena, we are represented by Dr. Konstantin Schutjajew and Öykü Simsek. We welcome you to our joint stand with Friedrich Schiller University Jena, and talk to our researchers and FSU Jena partners Dr. Koosha Ehtiati and Caesar Ghiabi.

Öykü Simsek shares her experience: It’s great to see strong interest in our environmentally friendly energy solutions based on small organic molecules and polymers. Many visitors were curious about the energy density and power density of redox flow batteries, and some even asked whether they could be used at home. A popular question was whether organic batteries could replace lithium-ion batteries in the future.

Dr. Koosha Ehtiati shares his insights from the event:
“We’ve been presenting our work to a range of visitors—from industry professionals to researchers and students. While the number of discussions has been moderate, the highlight for me was exploring another hall with fuel cell and bipolar plate manufacturers. I had the chance to connect with CEOs from two companies working on bipolar plate design for flow batteries, and we discussed potential collaborations to develop more commercially relevant flow cells for our lab-scale studies.”

Exciting conversations and connections are happening—stay tuned for more updates from Hannover Messe!
