With great public interest and many smiling faces, the Highlights of Physics 2025 in Jena came to a close on Saturday. For one week, the Goethe Galerie transformed into a vibrant stage for science, experiments, and dialogue.
At the joint booth of HZB/BESSY II and HIPOLE Jena, numerous visitors took the opportunity to learn more about modern battery materials, sustainable energy storage, and innovative technologies. Particularly popular were the solar energy experiments, the workshop for building your own coin cell batteries, and the drone flying – activities that delighted young and old alike.
